As I love to travel, so I choose the theme
of my Portfolio is all about Travel. I love travel because I can explore the Natural
Beauty around the world. Also the one of the top reason for travel is about
experience new cultures. It is always so meaningful for me to step off the plan
and into a “new world”. I love to see how differences of person around the
world live their daily life. We become so programmed and so used to our own way
of life that seeing these other cultures is truly an eye opener.
The upper link is my favorite website about
travel “Gogobot”, which recommend some popular hotels in difference country,
also there are some article to talk about the special thing in different place
and the reader can make some comment to share their experience.
This website is attractive because it
provide many photo to explain the location. As Gogobot choose white and pink to
the theme color, so it is mainly in white and pink color words and it used the
photo under the words, it can more protrudes the word and more attractive for
the audience. The intended audience is some people who love to travel or
planning to travel, so the user using difference photo of different place on
the top of the website, audience not only can cleanly understand what they are
exploring, and also attracted by those photo.
As attract more traveler to visit the website, the user create difference function in the website. For example if the reader is planning their trip, the most important thing in planning a trip is about the hotel. So there is a search hotel fusion in Gogobot, audience can enter the location and travel date to search which hotel is allow to entry. Also the user using hash-tag to divvy the hotels, such as Budget, Family or Luxury. The reader can find the hotel more personally.
Also for the readers who are finished their trip, there is a “Tribes” page. In the “Tribes” page, user divvies some travel style, such as Backpackers, Business Travelers, and Family Travels. In each group, the audience can share their travel style and experience, after share their review, the other reader can make the comments to share their opinions. I think this fusion is attractable; it is more interactive for the readers.
In conclusion, the Gogobot website suits for difference travelers, no matter they are Backpackers or Business Travelers. Also it can effectively to attract the audience who are planning or finished their trip.
